The Governor of Ogun State

Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Governor of Ogun State has expressed deep admiration for IOB. He has noted that the ministry of health has been transformed under the leadership of this young lady and the immunisation rates for children have increased “I don’t know where Iyabo is heading but all I know is that whatever this lady touches, she is always successful. I have never known her to be associated with failure”. Otunba Gbenga Daniel further said; Dr (Mrs) Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello is an embodiment of discipline, intelligence and hard work.

Traditional Rulers

The Olu of Ifo land, Oba Oladipupo made these remarks about her” Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello does not discriminate. She has assisted a lot of people in my community.

On her political career, he remarked, “The news about her ambition to represent Ogun Central at the senate is trumpeted over town. The acceptability of her intention by the public is a pointer of the good work she is doing to human kind” Oba Oladipupo further commented that “although born with a silver spoon in her mouth, she just seems to have rebirthed herself”.

Chief Adeaga, Chairman Council of Baales in Ibogun Ifo Local Government area, also stated how generous she has been “she has built public toilets, bought a tractor for the community for ploughing, and the revenues generated from the usage has been used to finance other capital projects in the area”… he also said” we love her not because she is the presidents daughter but for what she stands for in her desire to help the poor”

ECHOES    FROM    THE    IYALOJAS

Dr. (Mrs) Iyabo Obasanjo­­­ -Bello has been able to identify and bring a silent revolution to the health sector of Ogun State. As a result of this, women and most especially the Iyaloja’s of the popular Lafenwa, Kuto, and Itoku markets, have all spoken in one voice on her unrelenting effort.
The Iyaloja’s all had these to say:

Chief (Mrs) Funmilola Ayorinde ( Iyaoloja of Itoku) who is also the head of all Iyaloja’s in Abeokuta south , said Iyabo Obasanjo -Bello is a loving daughter of the Egbas, very hardworking, she has the milk of  human kindness, has helped to reduce the rate of infant mortality drastically and through her Iyaniwura Foundation she has been able to empower women to be self independent.

Alhaja Chief (Mrs) Iswatu Adewuyi  ( Iyaloja, kuto market) said I.O.B is  very humble , respectable, honours their call whenever she is been summoned, a good ambassador and also believes she is the right candidate for the governorship election in the future.

Alhaja Risikat Kareem ( Iyaloja of Lafenwa market) said I.O.B is a true daughter of the soil, she has  helped to reduce  poverty in the state and because of Iyabo’s  wonderful works she will definitely take a snap shot and be identified with her.

Chief (Mrs) Oridota (Iyaloja of Ifo) also spoke in similar vein to extol the virtues of I.O.B.That Iyabo has been a good mentor to the Ifo women ,also providing succor to the downtrodden through her Iyaniwura Foundation project and the success recorded in her micro- credit loan scheme.

Also, Mrs Motunrayo Dosunmu who is the leader of the OGD campaign for Governor Gbenga Daniel’s second term describes I.O.B as a reliable, dependable woman, who has a genuine interest in the welfare of women and also encourages them to take active part in politics.
